My name is Renee Howard.

I was born and raised in Kansas City and earned my BFA in Illustration with a concentration in Concept Art for animation and games and a minor in Storyboarding at SCAD.

I grew up drawing constantly. As the youngest child and only girl, I was dragged around from soccer games to baseball games, then back to soccer practice. I spent tons of time sitting on a picnic blanket on the grass or bleachers next to my parents' lawn chairs, coloring or drawing in an empty notebook. Most children had a blankie they took everywhere, and I had that too, but I also had my drawing supplies.

So of course, my passions include drawing, telling stories, and learning, but I also love working on various crochet projects, reading books and comics, traveling, and talking about my dog, (she's a 16-year-old Belgian Malinois who loves to sleep on the air vents).
